There has been a lot of changes in the last year. Elizabeth graduated with a nursing degree and got married to Orlando Maledo in September, who graduated with a bachelors in business. Melissa and Jade moved into our home and things have been going well. Mindy continues to struggle with 'life after brain injury. But recently having been diagnosed with a autonomic disorder, they have found a beta blocker that is supposed to block the 'pseudo seizures' And she has been seizure free since the med change about 8 weeks back. Shannon is expecting another baby next spring. Faith is finishing up a bachelors in social science and plans to further her education by getting a masters in Occupational Therapy. Austin and Kay continue to be one of the best things the Lord could have added to our lives. Although not with out struggle, the Lord continues to help us be a family.
October 5, 2013
Elizabeth is now in her last year of nursing college. Surgery went well and is down to one crutch, soon to be free of needing assistance.
Faith struggles with migraines, and is in care of a neurologist at this time but is a second year student at FK Community College in a behavioral science major.
Mindy has recovered from her bought of convulsions this past April and May and is preparing to do work with her organization called All Things Become New....You can go like her on face book at https://www.facebook.com/mindyloumorneault
Melissa continues to raise Jade who is now five years old. I tell Jade often that she is my favorite :-)
Shannon too is raising Gabriella who is 1 1/2 yrs old. She gets the same comments from me as I tell her often she is my favorite :-) too
Austin and Kay Lee are in the third grade and a real blessing to our lives. Sometimes I tell the Lord, was that the craziest thing we ever did, or the smartest thing we ever did. I am not sure, I do know it was a good thing. I love them as they were my own, wait...they are my own! As I prayed for their dad's salvation many..many moons ago, when he resided in a local group home for boys...who would have thought, the Lord would have brought his children into my life to raise according to the Lord and His words. Thank you Lord!
June 17,2013 Family Update....
Elizabeth is now ready to go for her next surgery. She will have reconstructive surgery on her right hip on July 29, 2013. Until then she is going to do the college bound program with CEF of Northern Maine.
Faith has just graduated from high school with 28 college credits. This means in the fall she will be in her second year of college. She is going for a degree in Social Services.
Mindy is home for the summer recovering from a set back this spring with her head injury. She had several sets of convulsions. We are waiting for an evaluation at UMass hospital. And for now is stable. She plans to work on her new non-profit organization: "All Things Become New" and design a new tee shirt for brain injury awareness. Her contact information is at www.atbn.org.
My grand daughter, Gabriella, who was supposed to be born with all kinds of health problems, continues to grow, and for all intents and purposes, is very healthy. Thank You Lord. She is now 1 year old.

Feb 1, 2013 Update on Elizabeth....
Her surgery date is February 28, 2013.
They will go in and repair any damages she has to her left hip. As far as the right hip dysplasia, they will look at that after her left hip is done healing. She made the decision to keep going through with this semester classes. I told her that her healing time will be a good time to spend with the Lord.
Faith wrote this poem Christmas Eve:
We sat around the table enjoying the Holidays as a
family.
This time brings us closer then anything else in
the world.
Even when people struggle through to get
everything needed.
We have family who are there to pick up the slack
left behind.
Money is scarce at times.
But you never let that bring you down.
God always provides and shows you things you never
seen before.
This year I saw a family get help to bring
Christmas Joy to kids.
Much was not expected to be given.
But enough was given to brings me to tears.
Just thinking of that makes me wonder.
How the others with way less survive.
A gift can be in a range of many things.
From a memory to a toy, from a family picture to
joy,
I'm extremely blessed with my favorite gift this
Christmas.
To see the love of God through all!
The time spent with each other is more scarce then
money can be.
And Christmas is the one time you get to not let
go of your family needs.
You may need food and water and shelter.
But the thing most needed of all is a family like
no other.
People come and go as they please.
But you need not let go of any chances
To show the love of a family given by God
And to praise Him for all that He has Given.
The greatest gift ever given to men was given a
long time ago today.
When a father gave His son, not to just you but
the world.
This was for everyone to have a chance to be with
Him one day.
And know there is a Love for everyone that will
always stay.
We Celebrate Christmas not just for ourselves
But in remembrance of the One who died to Save
No santa, no Jolly Nick or reindeer can ever
replace

Update: Elizabeth....
Doctor in Boston said her right hip dysplasia needs operation but because she doesn't have pain there, they don't want to do the operation at this time. It is quite invasive. She does have a cyst on the bone, that is showing wear and tear. And he told her when she has pain to call him and he will do the surgery needed to correct the dysplasia.
The left hip dysplasia is mild and not needing surgery.
But because it is the hip in pain she will go back to doctor
in Portland, for injections into joints, then if necessary,
He will operate which will be a 6-8 week recovery period.
November 26th, 2012
Elizabeth was hurt this past summer working at Camp Good News. After alot of physical therapies and x-rays, including cat scans and an MRI.
They found out that she has a deformity of both hips
called Hip Dysplasia. Good news was that they found out
early while bones are healthy and can be reconstructed.
This Thursday we have an appointment in Boston, Mass to meet with surgeon for recommendations on surgeries.

My daughter, Faith and my husband, Ron did a
missions trip to Jamaica this past April vacation
with Peter and Ruth Done.
Peter and Ruth run a non profit missions organization
called Christian Missions to Jamaica.
Faith has always talked about working with orphanages,
on this trip she was able to visit with a local one.
Recently we found out that Fabian purchased land
to build another orphanage on.
She is praying about returning in order to be a part of the construction of this orphanage. Please pray that God
provides necessary funds to build the orphange. Thanks!
My grand daughter, Gabriella Severe was born April 7, 2012. She was 6 weeks early. My daughter Shannon was flown into Children's in Boston to deliver. Gabriella had been diagnosed with 3 major deformities. Her heart, brain, and bowels. She had surgery soon after delivery to connect her bowels to her intestines. The surgery was a success. They continue to monitor her heart, eyes, brain and her lungs. We found out after she was born that her lung was twisted, her heart too was rotated in her chest.
They have told us recently that she is developmentally on target, her vision is 20/20, and her heart valves that originally have been too small, have grown with the heart and appear to be the right size now. And her oxygen exchange is great, so at this time no surgeries are needed. The following video was taken recently in my home.
Her health is definitely an answer
