Had a great time at Good News Club today (11/4/13).
Kids played a game called Garbage in Garbage out.
I used balloons one year and had as much fun.
The goal is to get the garbage onto the other teams side. The team with the most garbage when the song is done loses.
The idea is to allow God to help us to stay away from things that are wrong and to stand up for truth.
These are the words to the song that was playing.
Although it is very faint in the background:

After all our fun, we sat down and listened to the Story of Jesus. What a perfect way to end our fun!

This is a close up of the card we did.
Shannon was a sweetheart to put this together for the children. So they could make their moms a special card. I am ALWAYS Blessed when people choose to use their gifts for God!

Along with learning the Word of God, we apply it by serving others. We have made puppets to do bible based skits to minister the Word of God to families. This makes it personal for them. They love it!
