I was going over something I had meditated on back in March of last year and thought it went along with the theme of my page.....thought I would share.....
When I was doing devos last month and this thought came to mind. March 2nd = "A heart to change our generation" It is not to make a change for the next generation. It is more than that- It is to change my generation for Christ. Many of the Old Testament saints and those that I read about in all those missionary books had a heart to change the generation that they were born into- change it for God with His Words. Words of life. People like Jim Elliot did not realize the scope of a daily life lived for Christ, but as each one of those Aucca Indians crosses over to glory where he resides, he rejoices in what the Lord did through a submitted life. McCarthy wrote: "I seem to have got to the edge only, but of a sea which is boundless; to have sipped only but of that which really satisfies. Christ literally all seems to me now the power, the only power for service; the only ground for unchanging joy...." For two months now I have been mediating on 1 Chronicles 4:10 'And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep [me] from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. And know that God absolutely wants to bless the work of our hands.
Be sure to come back often and check out all the tabs above as we will continue to update the resources and Craft projects that we do with the children.
Ca lander dates are current until end of the year.
I am excited about our new club in Ashland! This year we will be teaching the attributes of God. We are also doing a scrap book with younger kids and hand puppets with older kids that will be used in a family skit night.
I pray that this sight is a challenge for you to become a part of our team. Go check out our sight for serving opportunities and our Statement of Faith to your left underneath tab for Good News Clubs forms and documents. The church is really a fabric of believers coming together to bring the Gospel to a world that needs a Savior...We can do this through the local club ministry one child at a time :-)
Psalm 78:4 'We will not hide [them] from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.'
There is no title to this poem, but if i were to give it one, it would be a simple question....
